Wabco India has opened its second plant at the Mahindra World City (MWC), Chennai.
The new facility cost INR500m (US$78.9m) and covers 2,272 sq m.

When fully operational, the new plant will employ 160 people including 30 engineers, reported Hindu Business Line.
It will make parts for commercial vehicle manufacturers in Germany, Japan, Poland, the US and other markets worldwide.
