Honda (UK) has confirmed pricing and specification for the new British built CR-V which will goes on sale in October after making its European public debut at the Paris show on Thursday (27 September).
UK prices will start from GBP21,395 on the road (OTR) for the entry level 2.0 i-VTEC petrol manual S grade 2WD model and rise to GBP30,995 for the top 2.2 i-DTEC diesel EX AWD with manual transmission.

Honda said the introduction of the 2WD version allows the new CR-V to enter the UK market with a lower entry price, “thus broadening the sales potential for this model going forward”. It has improved the specifications across the range while keeping prices in line with the outgoing third generation CR-V.
UK executives at the European press launch in Munich last week told just-auto the country would not be a major market for the fourth generation, with just 17,000 forecast to be sold here (a circa-2m unit market) in 2013 with a 70/30 split in favour of retail rather than fleet sales.
The UK CR-V will be available with four trim levels: S, SE, SR and EX.
The entry-level S has five-inch intelligent multi info display (i-MID), driver power lumbar support, idle stop, dual zone climate control, cruise control, 17-inch alloy wheels, fabric interior, hill start assist, steering wheel stereo controls, USB/iPod auxiliary input, one touch folding rear seats, stability assist (VSA), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA), trailer stability assist (TSA) and central locking.
SE level adds leather steering wheel and gear shift, rain sensing wipers, dusk sensing automatic headlights, auto dim rear view mirror, front and rear parking sensors, rear view parking camera, one-touch power windows (also key fob operated), electrically folding door mirrors, two extra speakers, Bluetooth hands free telephone, front fog lights, tweeters and a CAT1 alarm
The SR has half leather and Alcantara trim, heated front seats, footwell and door ambient lights, premium audio, DAB (digital) radio, colour-coded roof rails, privacy glass, Bi-HID lights with auto levelling, dynamic cornering lights, high beam support system, headlight washers, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a front passenger seat with power lumbar support and manual height adjustment.
The top EX has smart entry, leather interior, Honda’s first power tailgate on a European model, electric driver seat with memory, panoramic glass roof and integrated satellite navigation.
