Honda is recalling 603,000 Accords in North America because of a fault in power steering parts that could lead to engine fires.

The recall affects cars built between 2003 and 2007. Hoses on the power steering system can degrade and crack, leading to oil leakages which could cause fires or smoke in the engine compartment. Only one case of a fire has been reported and no one was injured, said Honda.
