Ford’s Indian subsidiary boosted sales 11% in November to 8,322 units from 7,504 units a year ago.
Ford also exported 1,769 units in November and added export markets including Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone and Ethiopia. The automaker now exports to 30 countries from India.
Local chief Michael Boneham said: “We are nearing the end of a positive year where we continue to see strong customer acceptance of our brands and we are selling more despite challenging market conditions.”
