Car and truck sales in Thailand fell 2.5% year on year to 615,270 units in 2008 and were expected to fall another 15.4% this year, Toyota Motor’s local unit said.
Toyota, which compiles sales data for the industry there, said domestic car and truck sales fell 7.5% to 631,251 in 2007 after a 3.0% fall to 682,161 in 2006, Reuters reported.
