Toyota has said it will suspend production at its plants in Turkey for one week until April 29.
The company said 3,500 workers would be affected.
The latest Turkish production break follows an earlier halt to production in early April.
Vehicle production in Turkey slumped 59% on last year to 142,567 units in the first quarter as the economic slowdown in Europe reduced demand for exports.
In the first three months of 2009, automotive exports fell 56% to 121,478 units with both passenger cars and commercial vehicles exports down sharply on lower overseas demand.
