Mercedes-Benz Rus, the Russian subsidiary of German automaker Mercedes-Benz, plans to cut prices for passenger cars and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) in Russia starting 1 June, the company said in a statement.

The price cut would affect the company’s A-, B-, C-, CLC- and SLK-class passenger cars, as well as its GLK-and M-class SUVs, the subsidiary said, according to Prime-Tass.
The base price for the C180 Kompressor BlueEfficiency will be reduced to 1.196m rubles from 1.434m. The GLK280 SUV sticker will be down to 1.808m from 1.98m rubles.
The pricing policy will also affect GL-class SUVs, which are expected to appear in Russia in September.
