General Motors will announce two world debuts – one production car and one
concept vehicle. The Chevrolet Borrego concept is the first vehicle to be designed
in GM’s Los Angeles design studio, opened earlier this year, and is said to
reflect Southern California’s ‘eclectic car culture’.

“The Borrego has the agility of a rally car and the influence of Baja
racers,” said General Motors studio director Frank Saucedo.

Herr Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle, group vice president of Ford’s Premier Automotive
Group, is the keynote speaker at the Motor Press Guild breakfast on January
4. Reitzle, responsible for Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln and Volvo,
will provide an insight into the luxury vehicle market and future plans for
the Premier Automotive Group.
