Website iranmania.com, citing local TV news broadcasts, said new car body and paint facilities, costing US$140.6m, enable IKK to build 45 vehicles an hour.
“The plant’s production capacity will reach 100,000 vehicles a year by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (20 March, 2009),” plant MD Mohammad Mehdi Siadat said.
