Lear Corporation has named Jason Forcier vice president and general manager of global electronics.

He reports to Ray Scott, Lear senior vice president and president of the global electrical and electronics division.


Forcier oversees all aspects of the supplier’s electronics business, which makes smart junction boxes, body controllers and gateway modules, wireless devices, lighting electronics and infotainment systems.


Prior to joining Lear, he was North American regional president of automotive electronics for Robert Bosch.


“We believe there is tremendous opportunity to grow our core body electronics business as customers seek innovative solutions that provide improved functionality as well as cost, weight and packaging advantages,” said Scott.

Prior to his stint at Bosch, Forcier was president and CEO of ETAS, a Bosch subsidiary. He joined ETAS in 1997, and held various positions of increasing responsibility in electronics engineering. He has held marketing positions at DSP Technologies and was a systems engineer at Delphi Automotive.
