“The LS 460’s outstanding performance, sure-footed dynamic abilities and advanced active safety systems have been further strengthened by the addition of permanent all-wheel drive,” Lexus said.


The all-wheel drive system is a three differential configuration featuring a very compact Torsen limited slip sifferential (LSD) – shared with the hybrid LS 600h – which distributes torque between the front and rear axles with a 40:60 rear bias.


The AWD version is due on sale here in the UK from early 2009.


Mitsubishi’s updated Pajero Sport line will also make its first show appearance in Russia next week.
