The Brose Group, a manufacturer of mechatronic components and systems for vehicle bodies and interiors, has announced that it will be consolidating several door and latch module production programs in to its newest plant in Warren, Michigan.

Production at outlying plants will be moved closer to Brose’s North American engineering headquarters and to that of its customer locations. The consolidation is the result of the difficult market conditions. The location in Chicago will be most affected by the changes. To aid in a seamless transition, there is an intention to offer relocation or severance packages to employees affected by the move.
