Audi has bucked the trend by reporting a rise in car sales last month.

Sales were up 0.4% in NOvember to 75,950 units. Year-to-date sales rose 3% to 920,700.
Audi board member Peter Schwarzenbauer said that the auomaker had fared well because of its “young and attractive model range”’. He nevertheless added that “unfavourable background conditions in all sales regions present a great challenge.”
Audi is doing better than its main German competitors, Daimler and BMW, because it is not so exposed to the US market. It also recently launched a new A4 Avant (wagon), the A6, A3, and, last month, the Q5.
BMW sales fell 25% in November while Mercedes-Benz was down 28%.
