According to Reuters, Hyundai recently failed to ship about 5,600 buses.
Spokesman Jake Jang told the news agency that the failure was a consequence of its labour union refusing to accept a company proposal to introduce a night shift.
Jang was quoted saying: “We are considering starting overseas production to meet demand from abroad, especially from China, Russia and the Middle East.”
