Total output declined for a second month to 870,639 vehicles, down from 904,821 in April 2006, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association told the Associated Press (AP) on Wednesday.
Domestic vehicle sales fell 8.7% in April to 357,690 units while exports of cars, trucks and buses rose 2.3% during the month, the 21st consecutive monthly gain, to 484,702 vehicles, JAMA told the news agency.
