Sales for BMW Canada rose five per cent during September, meaning that it has already sold more vehicles this year than in 2000. BMW Canada’s total sales are up by 19 per cent over the same period last year, with strong growth in the SUV sector. By model, the BMW 5 Series experienced significant sales growth, with September 2001 sales up by 48 per cent over the same period last year. In the first nine months, the BMW X5 is up by 47 per cent and the 3 Series up 25 per cent.
