Five locations are currently under consideration, according to Volkswagen board member and Skoda boss Detlef Wittig.


The new plant should start production from the end of 2008 and produce a Polo sedan and the Skoda Octavia.


The plant should employ generate around 3,000 to 3,500 jobs.
