Brazil’s Volkswagen and Audi plant in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná state, will reduce car production from next week because of a slump in sales over the last months, writes Rogério Louro Alves.

Production will be cut from 440 units daily to 370 and, as a result, the assembly line will work only two shifts. Nightshift workers will be transferred to other shifts.
