The annual awards have been established to focus attention and to recognize the increasing importance of vehicle interiors to automotive product branding and the customer’s purchasing decision.

The Car & Truck Interior of the Year winners will be selected at an awards and scholarship banquet to be held on May 16, 2000 at the Atheneum Suite Hotel in Detroit.
All six finalists will be on display at the EXPO for the morning press conference on May 17. Each vehicle will have a representative to give a short, walk-around presentation, answer questions and supply additional data and photographic support.
