Tata Motors managing director & CEO Girish Wagh said: “Building on the strong market response to our electric minitrucks and the successful deployment of our electric buses serving commuters across ten cities nationwide, we rolled out our nextgeneration electric trucks earlier this year and are now advancing further with the launch of electric pickups.”
Additional features include a walkthrough cabin, electric power assisted steering (EPAS) and a low-noise electric drivetrain, aimed at improving driver comfort during extended usage.
Tata Motors stated that the vehicle is supported by its broader EV ecosystem, comprising more than 25,000 charging points, over 200 dedicated EV service centres and home-charging options.
The Intra EV Pickup becomes part of the company’s electric small commercial vehicle portfolio, alongside the Ace EV 1000 and Ace Pro EV.
