Volkswagen has introduced the completely redesigned 2027 Atlas at the New York International Auto Show. VW says it boasts a fresh exterior with new sheet metal and updated front and rear lighting, giving it a ‘more upscale appearance’. The new exterior is paired with a ‘completely reimagined cabin’, featuring standard real wood décor and ambient lighting with available 15-inch infotainment, Nappa leather, and massaging front seats.

“The all new 2027 Atlas brings more of what matters: a stronger design, smarter technology, increased power, and a premium feel where it matters most,” said Kjell Gruner, president and CEO, Volkswagen of America.
Built on Volkswagen’s new MQB evo platform, the new Atlas retains its third row and generous cargo capacity, while the updated 2.0-litre turbocharged engine delivers increased power and is expected to offer improved fuel efficiency over the previous model.
