VinFast Auto has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with PlusX Electric, an EV charging solutions provider based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with the aim of improving access to EV charging and strengthening aftermarket support services in the country. The Vietnamese battery electric vehicle (BEV) manufacturer entered the UAE market in 2024, after it signed a distribution agreement with Al Tayer Motors.

VinFast aims to improve the overall BEV ownership experience for its customers in the UAE through its new partnership with PlusX Electric and strengthen confidence in the brand by ensuring that a reliable charging network in available, along with responsive roadside assistance, and integrated digital services.
VinFast said that through its partnership with PlusX Electric it plans to deploy Portable EV Charging Pods to meet customers’ flexible charging needs during vehicle usage, and also provide On-Demand Mobile Charging services for urgent charging requirements. PlusX Electric may also become a preferred partner for installing Home & Office Chargers for VinFast customers.
The two companies will also explore collaboration in digital services, to improve access to charging services, manage bookings, receive service updates and receive offers such as insurance through a digital platform.

Through this MoU with PlusX Electric, we are strengthening the support layer around EV adoption by expanding access to flexible charging solutions, emergency assistance services, and integrated digital touchpoints.”
