Seven agreements were signed, covering areas such as engineering scope, intellectual property ownership, product liability, after-sales responsibilities, systems integration and other commercial terms.

The documents include a strategic cooperation agreement covering mass-production-oriented parts procurement and related engineering services for the cooperative model.

Also included are a super one model mass production–oriented engineering services agreement and an intellectual property licensees identity confirmation letter.

Hebei Huanzhou Automobile Sales will provide engineering services focused on mass production and help procure parts.

This support will help the model move toward scaled output and first deliveries later this year, in line with Faraday Future’s multi-stage delivery plan.

Faraday Future founder and co-CEO YT Jia said: “With the signing of these agreements with our valuable partner, we have now successfully reached the most important cooperation milestone for FX Super One to reach our eventual mass production goal for this vehicle.

“We will work hand in hand with our strategic partner to ensure we hit our production and delivery goals for the FX Super One, and may seek agreement to expand to three new future models including the FX 4 – so we can realise the vision of An AIEV for Everyone.”

According to the press statement, the companies may also discuss further projects, including work on the FX 4, and potential expansion of sales into Canada and the Middle East.

Hebei Huanzhou will continue to supply engineering and technical support through the mass-production phase and later stages, Faraday Future said.

Faraday Future said the collaboration builds on its EAI Bridge Strategy and accumulated AIEV technology, while allowing FX vehicles to integrate software, AI and technologies already used in its FF 91 model.

It added that the agreements deepen cooperation with Hebei Huanzhou and aim to keep the FX Super One programme on schedule for this year’s delivery targets.
