Chinese battery electric vehicle (BEV) manufacturer Xpeng announced it has officially entered the Cambodian market, after signing a sales and aftersales agreement with local company Nspeng Automobile Import and Export Company. Nspeng is a joint venture between China’s Guangzhou Nanling Auto Group (GNAG) and Cambodia’s SDB Auto Group, based in Phnom Penh.
Xpeng confirmed that it has agreed for Nspeng to be its official dealer in Cambodia, responsible for the local development of the Xpeng brand, as well as sales and after-sales service operations in the country. The company launched six Xpeng models earlier this month, with deliveries scheduled to begin in November.

Nspeng currently has two sales and service outlets in Cambodia, with plans to add two more by the end of the year. The company also plans to expand its EV charging network by adding five new DC fast-charging stations by year-end.
Xpeng pointed out that the joint venture will benefit from SDB Group’s extensive local resources and in-depth market knowledge, and from GNAG’s management expertise and operational capabilities in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, adding that “combined with Xpeng’s advanced product technology and brand influence, this partnership represents a deep integration of complementary strengths.”
Xpeng has stepped up its overseas expansion in the last year, as it faces rising competition in its home market from a growing number of domestic brands and from renewed efforts by overseas automakers to target China’s NEV market.
Xpeng recently entered the Baltic states, having recently begun deliveries to its distribution partner in Lithuania, Exclusive Luxury Auto – a unit of the local Modus Group. In Latvia, Xpeng has partnered with Autobrava Motors, which plans to open a sales and aftersales outlet in the capital city of Riga. The automaker has also established a sales partnership in Estonia with local distributor Luxury Motors.
