
Chinese technology companies Visinex Technology and Smarter Eye signed a partnership agreement this week with the aim of jointly developing intelligent driving solutions for Level 2 autonomous driving and above, according to local reports. The two companies aim to drive innovation and accelerate the “intelligent transformation” of the automotive industry.
The partnership will look to combine Smarter Eye’s expertise in visual algorithms and image processing with Visinex’s high-performance smart chips, to develop new solutions in areas such as stereo-vision road preview systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
As part of the agreement, the two companies will establish a joint R&D operation, with a focus on integrating visual algorithms and semiconductors, optimizing system performance and developing competitive solutions for the automotive market.
Visinex Technology will contribute its high-performance, low-power semiconductors for the project, designed to ensure the efficient and stable operation of intelligent driving systems. Smarter Eye will provide its advanced algorithm models and innovative technology architecture.
