Along with the new pickup truck, KG Mobility will relaunch Musso as its dedicated pickup truck sub-brand – a nameplate that was originally established by Ssangyong Motor for its sturdy SUVs which combined the practicality of an SUV with the cargo capacity of a pickup truck.
A KGM spokesperson confirmed in a statement: “We believe launching the Musso brand marks a significant milestone in our journey as a leader in the pickup truck industry. We will continue to diversify our product lineup to build on the rich heritage of the Musso brand.”
KGM sold a total of 109,424 vehicles last year, down 6% from 116,099 units in 2023.
