Troubled start-up Fisker has said it has signed a new dealer partner in Miami, US, and two additional new partners in Denmark and Austria.

A Fisker spokesperson said: “Florida is an important EV market for Fisker, so we are excited that we can welcome Fisker Miami to our growing group of dealer partners.”

The firm now has six dealer partner location in the US, with the number of partners in Europe totalling 12 following the addition of Denmark and Austria.

It comes as the troubled firm recently withdrew its 2024 forecasts following reports it had hired financial advisors in preparation for a possible bankruptcy filing earlier this year.

Deal talks with an unnamed large automaker, rumoured to be Nissan, also collapsed in March this year.
