India’s biggest car maker, Maruti Udyog, reportedly told the Bombay exchange on Friday it would shut down production for two days – March 19 and March 25 – due to slower than expected demand.
According to Reuters, the company, which is 54.2%-owned by Suzuki Motor, said despite the production cuts, it would record its highest monthly sales ever in March.
