
Fiat has built the first 500e vehicles destined for the United States at its Mirafiori Assembly Plant in Turin, Italy.
It claimed the model sold out its first dealer allocation in less than a week.
It is also the first Stellantis BEV model for North America.
The 500e has an estimated range of 149 miles, a 42 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery and Level 2 (11-kW) charge time of four hours and 15 minutes (30 amp).
FIAT is launching in North America with one specification named Red with red-painted exterior mirrors, LED headlamps and front grille details, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a red dashboard.
Suggested retail price is $32,500 plus $1,595 shipping.
