The all-electric grand tourer has concluded its validation work which was carried out by Lotus engineers.

The Emeya was tested in Ivalo, Finland, approximately 250km inside the Arctic Circle with temperatures reaching as low as -25 degrees Celsius.

It brings to an end a stringent three-year test and development programme across 15 countries, Lotus says.

In addition to extreme cold, Emeya also endured conditions as high as 40 degrees Celsius. Further in-market testing will take place in the Middle East, United States and Australia ahead of deliveries in these markets.
