Japanese supplier Denso is aiming to grow its European turnover of €270m with sales of its diesel common rail system, reports Automobilwoche.

Denso’s major global customers for diesel common rail are Toyota, Mazda, Isuzu and Hino, but at the end of this year it starts supplying Ford from its Székesfehérvàr plant in Hungary.

Speaking in an interview with Automobilwoche, Michio Fukuzaki, president and CEO of Denso, said that he also sees an opportunity for Denso with navigation systems in Europe.

The Denso system, which features VGA (video graphic array) Display and EGA (enhanced graphics adaptor) screen, will shortly be available in the Range Rover Sport.
