Clarity on pricing has at last brought private customers back to the car showroom,’
said Alan Pulham, franchised dealer director of the Retail Motor Industry Federation
(RMI), commenting on car sales figures for November which showed a rise of 13.4%
to 162,572 units, with private buyer sales rising 33.8%.
He added that "retail franchises" saw most benefit whilst "fleet
franchises" had to work harder to maintain sales.
