Truck and bus maker Volvo’s three group truck companies reportedly increased sales 22% year on year in January-April.

Deliveries by Mack Trucks grew 57%, Volvo Trucks by 23% and Renault Trucks were up 11% in the four-month period, the Swedish company said, according to the Associated Press (AP).
During the past 12 months, orders for the company’s trucks were 17% higher than a year ago, Volvo reportedly said – orders were down 3% in Europe, but those in North America increased 47%.
AP added that the group delivered 20,400 units in North America – up 51% – while western Europe deliveries increased 5% to 32,200.
