The new model will be built at the Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic alongside the Karoq, Superb and Superb iV.

The new model, which will offer up to seven seats, will be available with petrol and diesel engines plus plug-in and mild hybrid variants.

The Czech automaker claimed the new model takes safety, technology and versatility to “a new level” but gave no further details.

Early in 2024 production of the next Superb will begin in Bratislava, Slovakia, “freeing up capacity for some 150,000 additional units of the popular Kodiaq and Karoq SUVs annually”, Skoda said.
