Radioplayer, the international radio technology platform, and Renault have announced signature of a new, long term deal covering the brand’s radios.
The agreement builds on initial collaboration between the two in 2022, to develop the Radioplayer for Renault streaming app.

This new deal will see Renault displaying official station information (logos, descriptions, now playing data) from the Worldwide Radioplayer API (WRAPI).
The pair will also develop advanced hybrid radio features.
The Radioplayer for Renault app is one of a handful recommended to owners of vehicles equipped with the OpenR Link multimedia system, providing access to a wide range of radio, web radio, and podcasts.
Radioplayer’s hybrid Reference Radio app is able to switch automatically between DAB+, FM, and streaming, and also offers station recommendations and podcasts.

Jean-Francois Labal, digital partnership head at Renault said: “[We are] enthusiastic about the idea of deepening the partnership with Radioplayer to include broadcast hybrid radio.”
