IT jobs claimed a 16.19% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.23% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Continental IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Continental, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.64% in November 2022, and a 48.18% drop over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 20.88% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 38.71%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.89% in November 2022, a 43.75% drop from October 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Continental
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 57.14% share, which marked a 48% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 26.37%, registering a 27.27% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 15.38% share and a 61.11% drop over October 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.1% and a month-on-month flat growth.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 37.36% share in November 2022, an 8.11% decline over October 2022. Mexico featured next with an 8.79% share, down 66.67% over the previous month. China recorded an 8.79% share, an increase of 33.33% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Continental IT hiring activity in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.74%, down by 51.67% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 19.78% share, a decline of 51.35% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 15.38% share, up 7.69% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.1%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
