France-based company Faurecia’s IT hiring rose 1.1% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.48% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed an 11.53% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.42% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Faurecia IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Faurecia, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 47.33% in October 2022, and a 16.47% drop over September 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 28.67% in October 2022, and registered growth of 48.28%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 12.67% in October 2022, a 72.73% rise from September 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Faurecia

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 42.67% share, which marked a 10.34% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 36%, registering a 1.82% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 20% share and an 11.11% rise over September 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.33% and a month-on-month decline of 33.33%.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 32.67% share in October 2022, a 5.77% decline over September 2022. US featured next with a 13.33% share, down 4.76% over the previous month. France recorded a 12% share, an increase of 20% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Faurecia IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.67%, up by 4.6% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26% share, a growth of 2.63% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.33% share, up 11.11% over September 2022.
