Vehicle output in Russia fell 6.3% year on year to 985,700 vehicles in January-September, Avtoselkhozmash (ASM) Holding, which monitors Russia’s vehicle manufacturing sector, told the Prime-Tass news agency.

Car output in Russia fell to 781,806 vehicles in the first nine months of 2005 from 839,176 vehicles in the same period last year, while truck output dropped to 151,859 vehicles from 156,511 vehicles.
