The contract makes Delphi one of the major catalyst suppliers for Chrysler.
Delphi’s catalyst washcoat is designed to help these vehicles meet the 2004 Federal Tier II and California Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) regulations.
“Delphi is actively growing its emissions business in the key areas of exhaust after treatment and engine management systems,” said Guy C. Hachey, vice president of Delphi Automotive Systems and president, Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems.
“Delphi is the only supplier to combine catalyst formulation and extensive engine management systems architecture expertise to help improve emissions.”
