The company has also announced a fixed-price, five year servicing and maintenance package for the car called BMW Concours, which is similar to one introduced earlier for the Mini.
For the UK there will be just two V8 models at launch, the 735i and the 745i, priced at £52,750 ($US74,200) and £56,950 ($80,000) on the road, respectively. Standard equipment includes satellite navigation, telephone, active suspension and leather upholstery.
The BMW Concours service package costs £500, runs for for five years or 75,000 miles and can be passed on to a new owner.
The package includes full service and maintenance by a BMW dealership and covers engine oil and filters, wiper blades, brake pads and discs, spark plugs, air filters, cabin air microfilter, brake fluid and coolant.
