HUNGARY: Lear starts producing Opel parts – Budapest Business Journal
Lear Corp. Hungary Kft has just started production of parts for the Opel Vectra according to a report in the Budapest Business Journal. The plant at Gödöllõ, near Budapest, now produces electrical parts for the Opel Vectra. The report says that the plant is undergoing a $3.5 million overhaul for the new work and is employing an additional 800 workers. The report adds that the plant stopped producing parts for the Land Rover Range Rover last year.
