ZPK acquires holding in Chinese aftermarket

Operates distribution and warehouse network

ZPK Group, a Wuhan based aftermarket player operating through out China, has become a shareholder of TEMOT International.

International Trading Group is the parent company of Dusseldorf, Germany based TEMOT.

Wuhan-based ZPK supplies the Chinese automotive aftermarket with a wide range of spare parts, including products from international supplier brands.

It operates an extensive logistics network, with warehouses in 28 Chinese provinces, through 600 distributors which supply 30,000 cooperative workshops.

After four years of sustained growth since its founding, ZPK Group is still in the expansion phase, it said in a statement.

Over the next three years, it has set itself the goal of continuously expanding its service offering and supply chain as well as improving range, product quality and price structure.

Fotios Katsardis, president and CEO of TEMOT International, said: “The ZPG Group has established a strong position in the dynamic and highly competitive Chinese market.

"We will be providing our new shareholder with all the support we can in achieving its ambitious goals.”
