The company has initiated pre-order sales for its first right-hand drive model, Xpeng G6 SUV, with deliveries planned to begin in March.

The Xpeng G6 SUV, decsribed as an ultra-smart all-electric mid-size coupe, combines “cutting-edge technology, and zero tailpipe emissions”, to "meet the needs of UK and European consumers".

It features 800-volt supercharging, an extended driving range, and next-generation operating systems for a seamless driving experience, the company said.

In partnership with International Motors Ltd (IML), Xpeng is planning to open 20 dealerships across the UK in 2025.

“With Xpeng’s cutting-edge proprietary technology - ranging from futuristic design and impressive range to ultra-fast charging - we are confident that our vehicles will resonate with UK consumers, offering exceptional quality, innovation, and an outstanding driving experience.”

At the launch, the company showcased its AI-driven vehicle lineup including what it claims to be the world's first AI-defined car, the XPENG P7+; the G6 and G9 SUVs; the seven-seater X9; and the eVTOL X2 flying car by XPENG subsidiary’s XPENG AEROHT.
