Volvo Cars has reported a 33% year on year increase in June 2023 sales.

Sales worldwide reached 66,379.

Fully electric car sales quadrupled and accounted for 14% of total sales.

In the first half of 2023, sales rose 17% to 341,691 cars.

Recharge chargeable models accounted for 37% of cars sold in June, increasing 129%.

Sales in Europe grew 70% to 27,196 cars and 23% to 143,943 cars YTD.

In Europe, Recharge models took 58% of overall sales.

Sales in the US rose 53% to 12,933 cars. Recharge volume rose 79%, accounting for 29% of sales.

First half US sales rose 18% to 59,750.

June China sales fell 7% to 15,405 cars with Recharge accounting for 8% of total sales.
