VinFast Auto has announced that it has signed an agreement with the Loret Group to distribute its battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in markets across the French Overseas Territories, as well as to further strengthen its distribution network in Europe.
The Vietnamese automaker hailed the agreement, which runs for an initial five-year period, as a significant step in its “global business model transformation aimed at rapidly expanding its retail network, strengthening brand presence, and optimizing operational efficiency in pursuit of long-term growth.”
As part of the agreement, Loret Group will establish sales channels and deliver VinFast BEVs to local dealers and customers. VinFast said that it has already begun shipping its VF6 and VF8 models to Loret Group ahead of the end-of-year “high-demand season,” adding that it is committed to offering its distribution partners “competitive pricing, marketing support, and in-depth training programmes to strengthen product knowledge and workforce capabilities.”
VinFast Europe’s CEO, Le Ngoc Chi, said in a statement: “We are delighted to welcome Loret Group to VinFast’s global network as a distribution partner in Europe. By leveraging its reputation, operational capabilities, infrastructure, and local market insights, we are committed to effectively expanding across European markets and achieving sustainable growth.”
Loret Group’s president and CEO, Denis Lesueur, added: “We are excited to partner with VinFast, a dynamic and forward-thinking all-electric vehicle brand from Vietnam.
