Japanese automaker Subaru Corporation unveiled its latest battery electric vehicle (BEV) model, the Uncharted, at an event hosted in New York by its US subsidiary Subaru of America Inc. The vehicle is scheduled to go on sale in the US in early 2026.

The all-new Uncharted compact crossover vehicle is powered by a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which can be charged from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. The Premium FWD variant has a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge and produced up to 221 hp. The Sport and GT AWD variants, each with a power output of up to 338 hp, can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds and have a range of 290 miles.

The Uncharted features a standard 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle comes with dual wireless smartphone chargers in the front center console as standard, and dual USB-C chargers for rear seat passengers. It has a standard NACS port for charging speeds up to 150 kW, making it compatible with more than 15,000 Tesla Supercharger stations throughout the US.

Subaru confirmed that further specification details and pricing information will be released closer to the launch date.
