Stellantis Q3 shipments grow on North America rebound

Stellantis US shipments have surged versus depleted year-ago levels.

Stellantis has reported a rise in consolidated shipment estimates for the quarter ending 30 September 2025, largely propelled by surging North America sales.

Consolidated shipments (vehicles delivered to dealers, importers and fleets ahead of retail and revenue recognition) for Q3 2025 were an estimated 1.3 million units, up 13% from the prior year.

The increase was primarily fuelled by a “strong” rebound in North America, alongside gains in Enlarged Europe and the Middle East & Africa regions, stated the automaker.

In North America, shipments rose by roughly 104,000 units, a 35% surge compared to Q3 2024.

This growth included the initial deliveries of the HEMI V8-powered Ram 1500 and was attributed to “normalised inventory dynamics” following a production cutback in the previous year.

In Enlarged Europe, shipments grew by approximately 38,000 units, an 8% rise year-on-year.

The increase was largely driven by the production start of four new B-segment models on the “Smart Car” platform: Citroën C3, Citroën C3 Aircross, Opel Frontera, and Fiat Grande Panda.

However, this was tempered by reduced shipments of Light Commercial Vehicles and lower volumes in certain key markets.

Across other regions, Stellantis saw a net increase of 10,000 units, equating to a 3% rise year-on-year. The Middle East & Africa region reported a 21% increase, with a 16,000-unit rise, primarily due to expanded FIAT production in Algeria and favourable market conditions in Türkiye and Egypt.

In contrast, South America saw a 3% decline, with shipments down by 7,000 units, largely due to a high comparison base in Q3 2024, when delayed Brazilian shipments were cleared following floods in Rio Grande do Sul in Q2 2024.
