Renault brand worldwide sales rose 11% year on year to 356,747 units in the third quarter of 2023. In the first 9 months of the year, sales also rose 11% to 1,128,885 vehicles.
HEV sales rose 48% and overall electrified sales rose 19% to 200,000 cars.
EV sales accounted for 54% at 64,854 units.
"Despite persistent supply constraints, Renault achieved its retail target.... with more than one out of two vehicles sold to private customers," the automaker said in a statement. The retail mix reached 50% year to date versus the market average 43%.
LCV
YTD 2023, Renault's worldwide LCV rose 21% to 281,404 units. In Europe, sales rose 26% to 214,255 units in a market up 14%.
