Nissan Motor unveiled its all-new Navara pickup truck in Australia, ahead of its planned launch at the end of the first quarter of 2026. The Japanese automaker said the new Navara’s design was inspired by Nissan’s pickup lineage, featuring a V-motion grille, three-part intake openings and C-shaped headlamps that connect seamlessly with the grille - “creating a tough yet refined and advanced appearance.”

The new generation Navara is powered by a 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine, producing a maximum power output of 150 kW (204 PS) and peak torque of 470 Nm, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. It is also fitted with a newly adopted electric power steering (EPS) system.

Its new four-wheel-drive (4WD) system automatically switches modes based on driving conditions, shifting to two-wheel drive during highway driving and 4WD when towing or handling heavy-duty tasks. It also comes with an electronically controlled differential lock and a suspension system optimized for driving conditions in Oceania.

Inside, the new Navara features a 7-inch colour TFT meter for the instrument cluster, and a dashboard-mounted 9-inch infotainment system. The advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) include Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Intelligent Speed Limiter which automatically recognizes speed-limit signs and alerts the driver.
