Geely Auto launches global app for EX5 model owners

The app also acts as a smart mobility hub, incorporating a dealership locator that connects users to Geely's service network.

Geely Auto has launched the Geely Global App, a new mobile platform designed to enhance vehicle management for owners of EX5 model.

The app aims to provide a more intelligent and accessible ownership experience for its global customer base.

The Geely Global App offers a suite of key features designed to meet the needs of modern drivers.

The app includes “car charging management function”, which allows EX5 owners to monitor and schedule charging sessions while optimising energy use and vehicle readiness.

The “vehicle locator feature” offers real-time tracking, simplifying the process of finding the car in busy or unfamiliar areas.

In addition to these features, the app enables “vehicle status control and management”, giving owners the ability to oversee climate settings, door locks, tire pressure remotely, among others. This level of control is available to users anywhere in the world, Geely said.

Available in 34 countries across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Europe, the app also acts as a comprehensive smart mobility hub, incorporating a dealership locator that connects users to Geely's service network.

The platform is designed for inclusivity, supporting over ten languages and featuring an interface optimised for right-to-left reading in Middle Eastern markets.

Geely said the app complies with international standards, including the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and market-specific requirements in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.

The automobile manufacturer plans to expand the app’s availability to more than 50 countries by the end of 2025, aiming to support a broader range of its international models.

Last month, Geely Motor Philippines, a subsidiary of Geely Automobile International, marked its official return to the Philippines under a new management.

The relaunch event showcased three new models, including the Geely EX5, and highlighted operational enhancements aimed at improving customer support and after-sales services.
